Carson began his tattooing career in Vancouver, Canada, and has over 17 years of professional experience. Throughout his career, he has worked in Canada, Hong Kong, Thailand, and now Japan.
Carson has received an award for his craft in Vancouver and continues to refine his skills with every tattoo he creates. His favorite styles include anime, cartoon and pop culture, American traditional, lettering, Neo-Asian, and Japanese-inspired designs.

We are a custom tattoo studio based in Kyoto and are currently looking for professional tattoo artists to join our resident team.
Applicants must have a strong portfolio and be capable of working in multiple tattoo styles. We are looking for artists who are passionate about tattooing, drawing, and design, and who have a solid understanding of the technical aspects of tattooing. Ideal candidates are competitive, reliable, professional, punctual, and friendly.
We operate as an open-conversation studio and encourage artists to communicate with one another, exchange ideas, and share knowledge in order to continually improve and produce the highest quality work for our clients.

We are currently accepting applications for a tattoo apprentice/shop helper. We are looking to train the right candidate to become a professional tattoo artist.
Applicants must have a strong passion for art and drawing, preferably with a solid background in the arts.
The apprentice’s role will include general shop duties while continuing to develop their art portfolio. Yuu is a female tattoo artist based in Kyoto, Japan.
After completing around five years of apprenticeship, she started working independently and gained experience tattooing walk-in clients and international visitors at studios in Osaka.
Her specialties include American Traditional and Japanese style tattoos.
With a background in graphic design, she also creates unique custom designs tailored to each client.
Yuu values classic tattoo culture while focusing on creating designs that fit each individual.
First-time clients and international visitors are always welcome.

Deposit and tattoo design policy:
Deposit:
All deposits must be received before the artwork process begins.
All deposits are non-refundable.
The deposit amount is equivalent to 10,000 yen, (5% processing fee for PayPal) and will be applied towards securing your appointment and the final price of the tattoo.
Deposits can be paid via PayPal, or by cash in person.
We only accept cash and PayPal at the moment.
Your deposit will be forfeited if the following incident occurs:
You cancel your appointment within 1 week of your tattoo appointment date.
You show up 15 minutes late to your tattoo appointment without prior notice.
Make unreasonable changes to your tattoo design (Please read below)
Tattoo design:
The “sketch” will be ready prior to the tattoo appointment. Please ask your artist about timeframe.
Clients are to provide a detail description of their tattoo, as well as reference photos to aid in the design process.
Once a sketch is completed, if necessary, client is able to make reasonable minor edits.
Example:
Initial design idea: Koi with sakura.
“Can I have more/less sakuras”
“Can I have more/less background”
“Can I have more/less waves”
“Can I make the koi more/less aggressive-looking”
All acceptable.
Complete design change is not acceptable, and will result in losing the deposit.
Example:
Initial design idea: Koi with sakura, in color
Afterthought idea: Tiger with bamboos
Our artists strive to do their best to create the ideal tattoo for each individual. We expect both the artist and the client to be respectful of one another.
Any abusive behavior (from any party), before, during, after the tattoo process will not be tolerated.
All incidents are to be reported to shop owner/manager immediately.

■ デポジットについて
・すべてのデポジットは、アートワーク制作開始前にお支払いいただく必要があります。
・デポジットは返金不可となります。
・デポジット金額は10,000円で、ご予約の確保および最終的なタトゥー料金の一部として充当されます。
・お支払い方法はPayPal、または店頭でのお支払いが可能です。
・現在のお支払い方法は現金およびPayPalのみ対応しております。
以下の場合、デポジットは無効（没収）となります：
・ご予約日の1週間以内にキャンセルされた場合
・事前連絡なく、予約時間に15分以上遅刻された場合
・不合理なデザイン変更をされた場合（下記参照）
■ タトゥーデザインについて
・「スケッチ」はタトゥー施術前までに完成いたします。制作期間については担当アーティストへご確認ください。
・お客様には、タトゥーの詳細なイメージ説明および参考画像のご提供をお願いいたします。
・スケッチ完成後、必要に応じて軽微で合理的な修正は可能です。
例：
初期デザイン案：鯉＋桜
「桜を増やす／減らす」
「背景を増やす／減らす」
「波を増やす／減らす」
「鯉をより攻撃的／控えめな印象にする」
→ 上記はすべて対応可能です。
・一方で、「大幅なデザイン変更」は対応不可となり、デポジットは没収となります。

変更後の案：竹と虎
当スタジオのアーティストは、お客様一人ひとりにとって理想的なタトゥーを提供できるよう最善を尽くしております。
アーティストとお客様の双方に、互いへの敬意ある対応をお願いしております。
施術の前・最中・後を問わず、いかなるハラスメントや不適切な言動も一切容認いたしません。問題が発生した場合は、速やかにオーナーまたはマネージャーまでご報告ください。

Preparation:
Ensure you are well-rested, hydrated, and have eaten. Bring reference images and communicate your ideas clearly to our artists.
Required documents:
Please bring your picture ID with you, as we are required to make a photo-copy of the document for record-keeping/legal purposes.
